Designed during employment with Partners by Design. The community bank with a drive through feature was a unique program to place on this prominent Brighton Park corner. Early design studies and sketches flushed out how the massing would speak to the adjacent building heights and provide targeted branding positions for the bank. The architecture's low volume of masonry references the community context and fits with the street scape scale. As this facade meets the main corner, the volume steps upward, housing a spacious Lobby and providing competitive intersection prominence for the bank. The buildings footprint hugs the site corner, parking and drive through are wrapped around in private. Users are provided with two safe entries, one adjacent to the pedestrian corner and the other directly off of the sheltered parking. The bank has one main circulation corridor that connects the parking entrance one one end and the banks only conference room at the other.
